Entry Application
The Rotary Club of Templeton invites you to participate in the 2024 July 4th Parade. If you wish to participate in the parade fill out the form below.
Please remember this is an American tradition based on American values and liberties. Please keep your displays in theme and Americana in nature. This is not the place to make political or causation statements. Violators will be expelled from the parade.
1. ALL entries and their participants enter at their own risk! Large public events have the potential to expose people to various physical and health risks.
2. Please keep animals under control at all times and respect your community! Unruly persons or animals will be removed and disqualified. All equine entries in the parade must have their own liability insurance with "Rotary Club of Templeton" named as additional insured.
3. No Alcoholic Beverages are allowed on the parade route.
4. All political officeholders are welcome as entrants in the parade, however no campaign signs or distribution of political material along parade routes is allowed.
5. This is a community event, no distribution of leaflets, no candy or samples may be thrown along the parade route, this includes water guns and/or balloons.
6. Please keep all children under control and on the curb for their safety at all times, minors five and under must be restrained (Supervised) by an adult at all times.
7. Parade awards will be presented by the Templeton Rotary this year. We will announce awards at the Templeton Park after the parade approximately at noon.
8. Please pick up your parade identification number the morning of the parade at the intersection of Main and Gibson between 8:00 and 9:00 a.m. prior to parade. At this time, you will also receive your staging location. Please line up as instructed by parade volunteers, and do not challenge your placement. Remain in your staging spot until the starter directs you to proceed.
